Bunker Course 2010

On Thursday, 2 September 2010, Chay Yiowmin, Partner and Head of Financial Service was invited to speak at the Bunker Course 2010: Operations and Management Programme, organised by August Energy at the NUSS Guild House @ Suntec. During the presentation, Yiowmin explored the challenges in managing commodity risk from both the physical and financial perspectives.

Yiowmin also examined the role of trading and hedging complementing company strategies with the aim of achieving key success within the organisational structure, taxation, valuation and accounting boundaries.

Yiowmin concluded the presentation by exploring how companies should embed effective risk management in this new environment across the whole organisation.
